In this training you will explore the physical, mental and energetic benefits of Yin Yoga.

Learn how to cue yin postures, the benefits of the poses, the correct use of props, the offering of assists, and the art of remaining in the pose.

Using our own unique bodies and minds as the roadmap to understanding, you will learn the difference between compression and tension, yin and yang, and the principles of a yin practice. As a student you will learn how to create sequences to cultivate an enriched home practice. As a teacher you will learn how to create sequences that both safely and effectively guide yoga students into a yin practice. We will also take the time to explore restorative postures and learn the difference between Restorative Yoga and Yin Yoga.

Candace and Lisa are committed to creating a sacred safe space where these deep releases can be both felt and learned from. Breath work, meditation, and practice will be a foundational part of the training.

Daily sessions are from 8AM – 5PM, and include detailed instruction and practice with two of your favourite teachers.

Module 1: Oct 13th (5-8pm), 14th 15th (8am-5pm)

Investment: $899
Non-refundable deposit due upon acceptance: $300
Full payment is required by Oct 12th, 2017 (unless opting for payment plan).

A monthly payment plan is available and signing up is as easy as giving us a call. Simply provide us with a credit card and we will ensure your place in the program with your $300 deposit and let you know what your monthly, automatic payment will look like. We will be sure to give you all the information you need in our acceptance email.

After you have applied, we will contact you shortly thereafter to confirm or deny your acceptance into the program. We want to ensure that each student receives as much attention as possible, which means that our space is quite limited. It is highly recommended to apply early for consideration as spaces will be taken on a first-come-first-serve basis.

Upon Acceptance

If you receive an acceptance email, you must confirm your spot by paying the $500 non-refundable deposit within 10 days. Failure to pay the deposit within 10 days of the acceptance email date will result in a voided acceptance.

If you withdraw your application after confirming your attendance, the $500 deposit cannot be refunded, however it can be used towards a future training. Please be confident of your application and ability to attend the training prior to confirming your attendance and making your deposit as there will be no exceptions concerning the refund of said deposit.

Yoga Santosha had been my home studio for years and when I heard they were launching a YTT I knew without hesitation that it was time. I can’t completely summarize what I gained in the 200h but it was transformative. Friendships, support, growth, challenging my comfort zones, finding my voice, refining my practice, deepening awareness…this yoga teacher training was a personal journey that has touched all corners of my life. The Yoga Santosha TT opened me up in so many ways. It opened up my yoga practice taking it to a new level of depth, it opened me up to new connections with amazing people and most of all it opened me up more to myself.
Within the 7 months of training my life transformed and I truly feel that the course accelerated this growth for me. Within this time, I left the career I was in, sold my house and car and 2 months after completing the training I traveled across the world to explore the next phase of my life. The journey through this teacher training was transforming to say the least. The passage from student, practitioner to a confident guide was definitely obtained. Our mentors through the process accepted us with open arms and guided us through thick and thin.
The development and fine tuning of the asana, the history and language of this rich and deep practice; many layers of this lifelong process were revealed to us in a very free but guided environment. As everything is, especially yoga, it is a lifelong process in which we are always students… but I left this teacher training just wanting more.
