This holistic yoga class takes the practitioner through the 5 koshas, or sheaths, of our awareness.
It encourages and provides space for each practitioner to explore and navigate the inner world as we travel from the most obvious layer, our physical being, through the energetic and mental layers via a balanced sequence of asana and pranayama. The same sequence is repeated 3 times through to correspond to these three layers – first with a focus on alignment, then breath, and finally emotions/sensations that arise with each posture.
This practice culminates in a restful awareness to access our inner wisdom and intuition, followed by a mindful meditation to help us tap into our most subtle yet largest layer, the bliss body.
The intention is for the practitioner to leave with a deeper understanding of how all our sheaths speak to us and a sense of community, joy and connection to pure happiness.
