Challengers, Week 4 – A Note from Natasha…

Some of you may be thinking, wow last week already! Others may be thinking, I can’t believe we still have one more week!

You are a week from the end of the challenge and you should stop and acknowledge your efforts. Maybe you have made it this far keeping within the rules of the challenge.  Some of you perhaps missed a practice here or there, and some of you maybe never really got started. The good news is that no matter where you are, today is another day! Every day is a new opportunity to start again. So even if you fell off the wagon early in the challenge it doesn’t mean you can’t get back on. And it definitely doesn’t mean you failed by any means.
It is called a challenge for a reason.  Obstacles are stepping stones. Their function is to move you higher. No one said it was easy to make changes in our lives but it is possible!

Take a step back and learn from your feelings. Why do you see something as an obstacle? Why are you allowing it to stop you? These are some questions you can ask yourself.  You may not feel the rewards immediately, but hang in there, and I promise…. you will!  Sometimes they are so subtle, we miss them or they just need time to settle.

Success to me is getting back up when you fall down. I challenge ALL of you to get up and start your challenge, perhaps again. It doesn’t matter if you win the big prize, as what really matters is the personal reward you get for yourself. Challenge yourself to show up this week 6 times!!

Have fun! Take it one day at a time and one foot in front of the other. Your thoughts don’t make up who you are, so when you hear yourself making excuses as to why you’re not coming to class… listen, let go and show up!

If you need support call on a friend who you go to classes with or perhaps one of your teachers at the studio, we are here to help you!
