My journey with yoga started over 25 years ago when I found myself in a yoga class. At the time I was looking for meaning and purpose in life and somehow ended up here and I am so grateful I did!
Yoga keeps me connected to the simplicity yet complexity of being and the abundance that surrounds us every day. I am formally trained in Ashtanga & Sattva yoga which are both flow styles and have done many courses along the way to supplement my knowledge and am currently enrolled in the RMT program at MRU.
I believe our bodies have innate intelligence and that they hold the key to unlock mysteries and have the answers we are searching for. Our practice is to create stillness in order to listen and allow this process to unfold.
I teach from a place of support encouraging students to listen to the subtle and sometimes not so subtle whispers and cues of the body. I look forward to meeting you on the mat, either to guide you through a practice or to practice beside you.
“Yoga is the journey of the self, through the self, to the self.” – The Bhagavad Gita
