I initially sought yoga as a means of physical balance and stress reduction. I soon found a whole lot more- gaining tools to assist me with body and breath awareness, grounding, mobility, and more presence in everyday life (just to name a few!).
In 2014, I left my comfortable desk job, took my first yoga certification in Costa Rica, and never looked back. A few years into teaching and through my first pregnancy and birth, I became fascinated with the incredible process and changes which pregnant bodies are capable of. This grew into a great passion of mine and I completed my prenatal yoga certification in 2017, and then later became certified as birth and postpartum doula. I also completed my 500hr yoga certification in 2018. A lifelong student, I am currently completing my registered massage therapy certification.
When not teaching or studying, I spend most of my time with my family. We love being fully immersed in nature- camping, biking, hiking, running, frolicking, and always collecting rocks. My little spiritual teachers (my kids) are my greatest motivation.
