Reiki Master, Holistic Nutritionist & Yogi but before all of that, I was an athlete. Rugby, baseball, synchronized swimming, basketball, volleyball, track & field. Movement has always been apart of my life and health & wellness, my passion. In 2013 after struggling with anxiety and being diagnosed with IBS, I decided to take matters into my own hands and went to school to learn and heal my body at the Institute of Holistic Nutrition in Vancouver.
While in the program I quickly began to understand that being healthy wasn’t just about what you put in your body, it was just as important to balance the emotional, spiritual and energetic aspects of yourself. Up until then, I had pursued yoga sporadically and mostly for injury-prevention but quickly began to see positive shifts in my mental, emotional and physical body.
Through a regular practice of yoga and meditation, I was able to start trusting my body again and re-connected to myself on a much deeper level. I was no longer a slave to my thoughts and as my awareness grew my practice saved me path saved me from a life of discomfort, dis-ease and depression. 7 years later and my thirst for knowledge never ends. I have combined my various certifications in Nutrition, Reiki and Yoga and am now an Intuitive Wellness Coach.
On the mat my classes focus on breath, mind-body connection and building inner resilience. Off the mat you’ll probably find me eating taco’s, traveling or obsessing over my cats.
