Bev Mcarthur

I have always been an active person. Early 20s I started bodybuilding. I was a runner. I played a lot of baseball in my 30s.

I found Yoga in my 40’s – Hatha, Vinyasa, Bikram – mostly for a physical workout. In July 2013 on my way home from a yoga class. I was hit on my Harley and that’s when things started to change I could no longer run or do any physical activity, not even Yoga.
After a year and a half of chiropractor and acupuncture help, I was not doing well. In so many ways, my mind was telling me to get back on my mat. Yoga become a healing practice rather than a Physical practice.
In 2017 I was convinced to take my 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training and it was the best thing I could have done.
I have continued to learn through trainings and yoga retreats, and the amazing teachers that have guided me. I have learned more about the practice of Yoga and importantly, about myself. It helped me heal and continues to do so.
Most summer days you will find me on my Harley with nothing but my yoga mat strap to my back.
My style of teaching is a Hatha flow with a little twist of critical alignment based therapeutics.
